I could play "Stairway To Heaven" on the guitar when I was 14. Jimmy Page didn't write it until he was 28. I think that says a lot.

I have just watched Bad News for the first time in about a year and it never ceases to amaze me. In the tradition of Spinal Tap there is a tour, a camera crew, and a terribly clueless band.

Bad News was created for the British television show The Comic Strip Presents. They went on to play together as a band from 1983-1988. The band toured and released an album, consisting of rock songs and frequent fighting with the band's members. Brian May of Queen produced the record, which included a cover of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Its members were Vim Fuego (aka Alan Metcalfe), vocals and lead guitar (played by Adrian Edmondson); Den Dennis, rhythm guitar (Nigel Planer); Colin Grigson, bass (Rik Mayall); and Spider Webb, drums (Peter Richardson)

I love The Young Ones, The Dangerous Brothers, and Bottom...but nothing compares to Bad News!

I promise even better than Spinal Tap!

I would stalk Bruce Campbell if I wasn't so lazy.

Yes! I would stalk Bruce Campbell if I wasn't so lazy. I believe him to be one of the greatest B movie actors of all time. I actually own a tombstone prop from "My Name is Bruce" (Thanks Tyler). Well now that I think of it Tyler wouldn't tell me where he lives so maybe it's his fault I have never stalked Bruce Campbell. I unthank you Tyler.

Black Beauty

I'm saying goodbye to the black hair and because of this I give homage to...the ladies that have rocked it as long as I have!

Where did the rock n roll horror genre go?

The combination of horror and rock is a match made in heaven...so where has it gone? I blame the rise of indie rock, although I do enjoy my share of wussy pop, I miss the hair metal bands that fought evil or obviously were evil.

Rock n Roll Nightmare starring Thor.
"When the band starts to rock heads start to roll"

Rocktober Blood
"He's back from the dead with a message from hell!"

Trick or Treat appearances by Ozzy Osbourne and Gene Simmons
"What are you afraid of? It's only rock n roll!"

You can do it....MUSIC!

My life lately has consisted of sleep, work, and the gym, needless to say I needed something to liven things up. I remembered all of the 80's movies that had such inspiring and ridiculous montages...I thought I can do this!

I realize that "It's Always Sunny" has beat me to the "punch", but this is the quintessential you can do it song.

I was struggling with this montage, but after some thought, I believe "Thrashin'" is a do it song. 1. It tells you you're thrashin' 2. You're running hot 3. Tearing it up 4. Josh Brolin

Absolutely no explanation needed...

Not an 80's montage, but an unbelievable homage
Orgazmo

The Stargrove theme from "Never Too Young To Die" is my favorite you can do it song...Unfortunately I couldn't find a clip, so if you will bear with me start this at the 3:06 mark. So worth it!

I hope that I have inspired someone to punch, thrash, rip, find glory, be the best, and of course BREAK OUT!

A quick P.S. Kevin Bacon...

Thanks for reminding me Malia!
